Triskelion Arts is a nonprofit performing arts venue that houses two theaters and five affordable rehearsal studios for dance and other art forms. All five studios boast city views, full walls of mirrors and sprung floors. Two of the studios convert to black box style theaters fully-equipped for high quality production with flexible options.
Founded in 2000, Triskelion has since produced hundred of unique performances for audiences of upwards of 10,000 people and has provided over 100,000 hours of low cost rehearsal space to New York performing arts community. It is a wonderfully old-fashioned, alternative rehearsal and performance space with a long tradition of hosting rising choreographers.
Triskelion rents the premises. However, shifts in the ownership of the building and planned changes by the new owners indicate that the organized must uproot and relocate within the next two years.
