Information about scholar housing options will be added soon.
Scholars who choose to stay in the residential housing, will have the cost of their housing deducted from their stipend.
Stipend
Stipends are intended to compensate participants for their time commitment and to help defray the costs of participation, which may include expenses such as travel, lodging, and meals (for residential programs), and technical support (for virtual and combined programs).
The Somos Boricuas Summer Institute is 2 weeks (in person) taking place from July 14th to July 27th 2024. Participants will be payed $2200. The stipend is taxable as income.
