Music, music, music. No matter how complex the jazz is, it’s played with the feel of the blues – true, sincere, and communicative. It’s real. Please stop by. Listen, laugh. You’ll feel the history – it’s been there forever. If it were not there, I would miss the low ceilings, the plastic tablecloths, the crowded canal of a pub. It’s relaxed, it’s authentic, not trying to be hip – it simply is. (April 2010)
