The burger joint opened in 1938 under the name “Hamburger Heaven.” In 1965, it rebranded and became “Prime Burger.” Part of Prime Burgers charm is its static nature. Stepping through the doors is like stepping back in time — the interiors havent been updated since the 1960s. This feeling was captured beautifully in a short documentary-style video by This Must Be The Place (see link above). The interiors havent been updated since the 1960s — its truly a time capsule of the Mad Men era. (May 2012)
