The New Utrecht Reformed Church is a place that matters because it has been around since 1677, and it is not already nominated. The big red doors catch your attention while you are walking past, and the building is surrounded by by a large grassy lot. This church is particularly great because it always holds local neighborhood events such as holiday plays, flea markets, petting zoos and food drives. This church is very important because it supports our community and the people who reside in it. It draws attention to and helps multiple people of all backgrounds and religions. (November 2012)
