Classical Guitar Concert Featuring Dr. Koh Kazama
Classical guitarist Dr. Koh Kazama will perform a one-time solo recital, taking audiences on a journey of music from around the world – South America, North America, Asia, and Europe. The program will include works by Bach, Jobim, Piazzolla, Villa-Lobos, and more!

About Dr. Koh Kazama
A New York City native, Dr. Koh Kazama is a concert guitarist and educator whose diverse repertoire ranges from early music played on period instruments to contemporary music using electronic effects. He has been invited to perform in renowned venues, festivals, and concert series, including Carnegie Hall, Miami International GuitART Festival, Long Island Guitar Festival, and WNYC New Sounds Live series. Recent highlights include concerts with Grammy-nominated ensemble Seraphic Fire, performing the Villa-Lobos Guitar Concerto with the Alhambra Orchestra, and performing as the featured artist at Killington Music Festival’s season finale chamber music concert.
Dr. Kazama holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Stony Brook University. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in psychology, Master of Music, and Artist Diploma at Yale University, where he received a full scholarship. He is currently an adjunct professor at New World School of the Arts, a partner of Miami Dade College, University of Florida, and Dade County Public Schools in Miami, Florida. www.kohkazama.com
