Artist’s Bio:

Elizabeth Argelia Leonard is a writer, educator and editor with a Masters in novel writing from City University London. She has been a teaching artist for arts organizations in NYC for several years and also develops and leads adult writing workshops in English and Spanish for organizations throughout the U.S. She has recently been certified as a yoga and wellness instructor and integrates wellness into her work as an educator. As a Dominican, Irish, New York City native, diversity is at the heart of who she is and plays a large role in her writing and teaching. Her stories and poems often explore diversity, particularly in New York, as well as its oppression/suppression.
