Bronx Rising! Halloween: The Bicentennial of Frankenstein

Doing up Halloween right with a celebration of Mary Shelley’s novel, ‘Frankenstein.’ 200 years young! With a screening of the 1931 classic film starring Boris Karloff. Bobby Sanabria & Project X will provide a live soundtrack combining jazz, Latin jazz, and funk.

Our program opens with a discussion about the film’s influence and legacy, featuring Latin Horror expert Edwin Pagán, along with local authors April Grey and Richie Narvaez.
